| Healthy Monday |
What?
The Healthy Monday campaign designates Monday as a call to action to
begin the week with healthy behaviors in mind. Research shows that by
beginning a healthy behavior on Monday, you are more likely to continue
that healthy behavior throughout the week. |
 |
Who?
The public health campaign was founded in 2005 by Johns Hopkins
University, Columbia University and Syracuse University. The goal of the
campaign is to end chronic preventable disease in the U.S. by supporting
individuals as well as organizations in promoting health awareness and
actions. |
How?
The Healthy Monday Campaign does this by providing tools, resources, and
examples of healthy activities. Healthy Monday seeks to help people
change poor diet, physical inactivity, alcohol misuse and tobacco use.
